| Individual Marco Project | |
| Road Trip - a la
Marco Polo.
Marco Polo left Venice at the age of 17 and came home at the age of 41. See the routes of Marco Polo. If you were to take a trip like Marco Polo today, where would you go? Your assignment is to visit at least two continents mostly by automobile. (You can use a boat or plane only when it is impossible to traverse by automobile.) You must travel at least 10,000 miles. You must stay at least a year in three different places. Use Google Maps to plan your route. Tell what interesting places you will visit. What jobs you would like to do when you stay at a particular place? Tell about the culture of places you visit, provide a sample of their music and tell of their food. Who are the current leaders and explain their form of government. Provide photos and interesting facts. Make a movie. |
