3 Weeks: June 22-July 10 (no school July 3)
Richmond Street School, Room 300
Cost: $110 per week; all three weeks $330

During this course, students will be working collaboratively with their peers as well as pen pals to explore different science topics. Topics may include natural disasters, weather patterns, as well as rocks and plant life in our surrounding area. Students will also be connecting with an “ePal” in another country to exchange scientific knowledge and skills. Additionally, students will receive direct instruction in iPad applications, word processing skills, conducting online research, email communication, and creating digital presentations that demonstrate their learning. Each week students will have the choice to start exploring a new topic or continuing to develop their already existing project. For this reason, you can join this class for all 3 weeks or just a week at a time. The goal of this course is to expand technology skills, explore a new region of our world, and have fun exploring with science.

PLEASE NOTE - classes with low enrollment may be cancelled as late as June 13. Every effort will be made to avoid late cancellations.
