Hey incoming Freshmen, how would you like to earn Spanish 1 credit this
summer so that you may go directly into Spanish 2 for Fall 2015. Some of you
may be thinking that you are ready for Spanish 2, but do not have the
vocabulary nor all the grammar that you need to know to be successful in
Spanish 2. We will be doing skits, playing games, drawing diagrams, create
projects and learn also practical idiomatic expressions. We will cover a
chapter every two days, so first semester we will cover chapters 1-6, and
2nd semester will cover chapters 7-12. Incoming freshman are encouraged to take this class in order to advance to Spanish 2 during your freshman year. This accelerated course is based on the assumption of successful completion of Spanish in your previous 3 years at ESMS. You must pass the Spanish 1 final with at least an 85% in order to qualify for Spanish 2. |
