This course is designed for entering 12th grade students so they can begin and
potentially complete their college selections and application processes. |

Course will include: -College selection, Degree Majors and Career selections -Understanding public and private college applications -Requests for Letters of Recommendation (When are they needed, who should write them?) -The Common App, Out of State Application and UC/CSU Application processes (Details needed to submit all college applications by deadlines required) -The Personal Statement: Defining yourself for the complete college resume *Students who take advantage of our time together and work outside of class during the week can complete all applications before school begins. Cost includes all materials and email/text access to Counselor Instructor/ Counselor: Stephanie Burns, M.S. Over 20 Years Experience in College and Guidance Counseling B.A. Psychology, CSU Sacramento M.S. Counseling, CSU Sacramento Pupil Personnel Services Credential K-12 *Completion is not the same as submission. Students will meet with the instructor to determine best personal plan for submission timelines. |
