Sources - You must cite at least five sources of which at least three must be primary sources.

Format for History Paper
Your paper format should look like the following

Introduction
1. Contains a lead which introduces your topic.
2. Make comments about its importance.
3. Clearly identify the interpretive stance you will take on this topic. In other words, prove something.
4. Make a stand on the perspective you will take for the paper. (This is your thesis statement.) For example: The influence of the media turned American sentiments regarding the Vietnam War.

Body
1. Lead for your first argument.
2. Concrete Detail /Evidence [such as quotes, laws, primary sources, political statements, historical event]
3. Commentary - argue your thesis.

4. Transitions

Repeat Body 1-3 as needed.

Conclusion
1. Lead for your concluding thoughts.
2. Results of your study are explained.
3. Comments
